Just a warning...this is a post with lots of pictures!!
Tonight was the FIRST t-ball game for Alex! Once you see the pictures below, you will know whether he enjoyed himself or not!
Matt is helping coach and he is really good with all the kids (and I think Alex loves having him help). I am amazed how he knew all their names within minutes!
It was a gorgeous night to be outside and the kids were so excited they could barely contain themselves!

In the pre game huddle. "Go Green Team".
Coach Dan is on the right...he looks like he might be scoping out the competition! |
| Playing 2nd base or maybe I should say the "area around the 2nd base"! |
Somewhat of a ready stance!
Coach always yells "ready team" and they are supposed to yell back "ready" and get in their stance!
Can't believe how well it works and they all refocus! |
| He got the ball!!!!! |
| Now what to do with it... |
| Think I will throw it in! |
| First time up to bat! He bats left handed. |
The next three pictures are my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!! Just look at that expression! He is sooo proud of his hit and is running to first base where Daddy is the first base coach!!!!
| Running the bases |
| Getting 4 and 5 year olds in a line isn't the easiest task, but here they are getting ready to shake the other team's hands. |
| The game is over and he is still so excited! Love. that. smile. |
T-ball is great! It last only one month during the summer and it is fun to just watch the kids have FUN without the pressure of winning or losing!
GO GREEN TEAM!!!!!
Way to go, Alex! We are so proud of you and you look like you are having the very best time!!!
