We headed south to Nana and Papa's for Hopkey Christmas. It was a really nice weekend being together.
Friday night we had oyster stew and chili and opened presents!
| Some adorable kiddos! |
Papa reading the Christmas Story! Probably my favorite
part of Christmas. Makes me miss Gramps! |
| Kids had fun handing out presents! |
| Brecke delivered a big one for Papa! |
| Some headbands! |
| Greta got lots of clothes for her dolly! |
| Have to say the garbage truck was probably the most desired present for 2012 and as you can see--he was THRILLED to get it! Didn't take long before it was (unfortunately) hauling REAL garbage! ICK! |
| Aunt Allie got a scarf! Took her an hour to get it undone, but it was cool when she did!! LOL |
| Alex and Brecke gave Nana and Papa Santa handprints! |
| A cousin camp out! |
We had some beautiful snow on Saturday which allowed us some fun sledding and great snowman building!
| Makes me giggle every time I look at him! He loved sledding! |
| Love this! |
| Daddy was so good with Brecke--taking the time to build a baby snowman with her. |
Saturday also meant some sugar cookie decorating!
We also celebrated Greta and Alex's 5th birthdays!
| He can be just like the "Gold People"...he has a dozer AND gold now! |
| Swear these two are brother and sister sometimes!!! |
We tried to get a decent family picture. With the exception of the Barnard kids' attire--I think they turned out great!
| The grandkids |
It was an absolute wonderful weekend--the snow made it picture perfect and the family time was meaningful!
Love the pictures - especially the snow ones!
