Meet Ms. Jackie and Jack...

We had a fun night as a family doing some carving!  Alex could barely wait.  He has been asking since last week when we picked out the pumpkins.  Today in school his class carved a pumpkin and before I left I heard him exclaim to his teacher after she announced they would be carving a jack-o-lantern, "we are going to carve our pumpkins tonight! Beck (Brecke) is going to help us too".  He remembers carving last year with Greta, Jonah, Aunt Allie and Papa.

Anyway, he was really into it!  He wanted to do it all and wasn't overly pleased when he learned there was a lot he would need to have help with.  He drew the nose and most of the mouth all by himself.

Brecke, she was all over the place.  She told Daddy that she wanted a happy face.  Since Daddy loves her eyelashes so much, he drew in eyelashes on her pumpkin!  She wasn't about to touch the insides.  She put her hand inside and quickly pulled it out, said "I don't like it", grabbed a banana to eat and went on her way.
